And specifically when it comes to my nonprofit and my interest in global health, the TB Kids Central is very personal to me and very specific as I actually went through having the disease when I was younger.

So in fifth grade, I had latent tuberculosis, which is essentially when the bacteria that causes the disease remains dormant within your body and does not cause any symptoms.
