Right? So what, what is the tone difference there that, and why would somebody need a lesser call?
16:12
So, I mean, the tone difference, as you can tell, they're like ver- well, and I don't have a, a big goose call with me within range that's tuned up, but, um, it's, it's, it's a higher pitch crack and, and, and the little, the little geese, the lessers, when you hear them out in North Dakota, you know, Oklahoma, Texas, wherever you're hunting them, right? They got that high pitch crack.
16:35
And they, they usually, to my experience hunting them in Nebraska and North Dakota, I only hear those little clucks and occasional moans.
16:44
I don't hear all the vocabulary that the big geese have.
16:48
Um, I could be wrong.
16:49
Um, that just my inexperience of hunting them.
16:52
I've only been hunting them for two to three years now.

28:59
So when did you really get into calling, and, like, where'd, when did that, where you're like, "I am gonna become a great goose caller"?
20:13
Now for the listeners that haven't, uh, gotten to watch one of these or seen what's the, uh, the format, what's it look like when you show up to a competition?
20:24
Yeah.
20:24
And so there's, There's you get, you know, you get your duck and your goose.
20:29
And then so on the goose side of things, you have what's called the open style.
20:33
It's kind of confusing because it's the open style.
20:36
But then there's the open class, which means it's open to anybody.
20:40
But the open style is a 90 second routine, which you start off with your hails.

14 MINS LATER

35:05
Okay.
31:14
Sure.
31:15
And so that's why I'm gonna go back to credibility.
31:19
Like, I wouldn't, I wouldn't try to teach someone what makes the best glass on a rifle scope or a binoculars.
31:27
I'm gonna come to Vortex, 'cause you guys are one of the best.
31:31
So, like, it's just, that's my thought process with it is, and then, then, so, like, I've proven that I know how to operate the call.
31:38
The call's won twice, so, like, it's proven itself.
31:43
So that's why, that's why I stand on that, and I think, you know, we're gonna see a lot more of that coming in the future, and that's why I'm leaning so heavy on this.

21 MINS LATER

52:32
W- on the, on the hunt side of the house, what, what would be some calling tips or strategies that you've learned over time that, you know, could be some basic stuff or maybe some, some hot tip stuff that, like, people aren't always thinking about, or something, I'm giving you so much here, you know, something to try maybe when the hunting is tough?
2:21
So, who are you?
2:24
Yeah.
2:24
My name's Chance Wadsworth.
2:26
I'm from Wisconsin.
2:27
Um, I own Quill Creek Calls, and I love contest duck and goose calling, and I love...
2:34
More importantly, I love hunting ducks and geese and love the outdoors.
2:40
[sighs] I've been doing it ever since I was, uh, really as, as young as I can remember.

26 MINS LATER

28:41
But what would be your, if YouTube wasn't an option, what, what would, what you would tell somebody?
2:21
So who are you?
2:24
Yeah.
2:24
My name's Chance Wadsworth.
2:26
I'm from Wisconsin.
2:27
Um, I own Quill Creek Calls, and I love contest duck and goose calling.
2:32
And I love, more importantly, I love hunting ducks and geese and love the outdoors.
2:40
[sighs] I've been doing it ever since I was, uh, really as, as young as I can remember.

26 MINS LATER

28:41
But what would be your, if YouTube wasn't an option, what, what would, what you would tell somebody?
KevinHOST
14:20
You're, you're the goose dude, right? So what about that?
14:24
So I, I do have stuff in the works.
14:28
I'm planning for it, but I will never, I'll never sell a call unless I win something prestigious.
14:33
So, like, unless I win a World Team Live, a World Live, an Open Street, which is the hardest, or a Meat Duck World or something like that, I, I won't sell a duck call.
14:43
Because in today's age, and I'm not saying it's wrong, it's just my preference and what I...
14:51
If I was to buy something from someone else, I would wanna buy from someone that's credible, not relatable.
14:58
So, like, in today's world for the last 10 to 15 years, it's influencers, right? You know, people that are relatable, which is not a wrong...
19:44
Yeah, walk through someone who's never done it before, like a couple early things to, to help them get the ball rolling.
2:41
Why don't you give our listeners a little bit of a background history on who Chance Wadsworth is?
2:48
Yeah.
2:48
So ever since I was a kid, my dad has taken me hunting.
2:53
We started off trapping.
2:54
That's, like, my first memories of being in the outdoors and, and then the hunting and fishing and trapping.
2:59
And then slowly, he took me waterfowl hunting, deer hunting, turkey hunting, and all those things.
3:06
And as I got older, um, my love for waterfowl hunting grew.

19 MINS LATER

21:44
[laughs]
MichaelHOST
10:37
That's my favorite kind.
10:38
I want people to close their eyes and just imagine this.
10:43
North Dakota, everybody knows that as one of the premier destinations for waterfowl.
10:48
It has all different kinds of ducks and all different kinds of geese.
10:53
It's a November day, late season, North Dakota.
10:59
The limit for geese is eight per person out there.
11:05
We had eight guys, actually.

12 MINS LATER

MichaelHOST
23:33
What do you got for us? More birds or do you want to talk big game or what do you got? I'll probably talk
