What'd I do?

Chad UnsickerGUEST
And, um, she pulled me in here, and she gave me a hug, and she just said, "Chad, I'm sorry for everything.

Chad UnsickerGUEST
You didn't ask for any of this, but you were kind, and you let me be me, and you let me work through the things I needed to work through, and you weren't critical, and you supported me, and you loved our kids, and you never tried to get our kids to be mean or unkind to me, and you put up with all of this.

Chad UnsickerGUEST
And I'm grateful that you let-- you told me to watch Ted Lasso, because Ted showed me what you went through on just such a minor level, but I know because I was there too.

Chad UnsickerGUEST
And I know the things that I did, and I know the things you did, and I just want you to know that I love you, and I'm so sorry." And we just held each other and cried, and we're so grateful for each other, and it was like, you know what? And I married my best friend, and it's been okay.

Chad UnsickerGUEST
And I'm so grateful that I did just that, because if I would've been in a different situation, you know, there were people that came to me and said, "Hey, man, we're on your side through this divorce.

Chad UnsickerGUEST
We're 100% screw her," whatever, and it was always, "No, no, no. There's two sides to this, and more than anything, both of these sides, the only thing that either one of us should be caring about is making sure these kids are provided for, and that they have the things they want and need for their lives.
