How do you, when you're engaging with a company and kind of talking through this for the first time, like what is the actual upside for a company? Is it funding? Is it faster timelines, market access? Like how do you approach that conversation?
13:50
Absolutely, and again, I'll caveat this with the sort of broader context that seeing Indigenous communities as simply a business case for something is not an ideal way to start.
14:05
Okay, yeah.
14:07
Of course, that's what we're talking about today.
14:08
And so happy to unpack that with that lens applied, recognizing that there's much more to it than that.
14:16
And so I think that sort of starting from the top, understanding Are you are you actually looking for a partnership or are you looking to simply sell to a First Nation, which both are fine? And sort of understanding that from the beginning is important, you know, because indigenous communities, much like a municipality or much like other sort of government agencies, you know, they buy things, they buy they buy generators, they buy solar panels, they buy water treatment facilities.
14:46
And so, you know, being very clear about are you are you trying to sell something or are you trying to partner? So that's step one.

But I'm just kind of curious, what are the things that they tend to pitch? Are they still going out and finding climate specific VCs? Are they finding just like, you know, energy or like who are they? Who are the typical kind of investors at this point? If there's any kind of themes that you're seeing?
12:23
Yeah, I mean, I think basically, Broadly across the venture ecosystem, I mean, maybe other than some of the AI bubble that we're seeing, it's certainly much more of a sort of show me environment than it is a tell me environment.
12:37
And so a lot more priority put on that.
12:42
even if it's early signals of traction, LOIs or commitments from potential buyers down the road is absolutely critical.
12:53
And I also think that...
12:57
Where we're seeing more traction is where sort of climate tech or clean tech is paired with a critical sort of economic or geopolitical driver, right? And so where, as we touched on already, where you're thinking about reducing costs for industrial processes, which clean tech ultimately is about resource efficiency, right? And so we're seeing a lot of demand across sort of industrial decarbonization continues to be a strong place for us.
13:28
Seeing a lot of interest in food security as well.
