Can you speak about, you know, where we're at now? Has it bounced back? Are there still any side effects from the pandemic that you've kind of seen in your role?

Yeah, I mean the pandemic was devastating.

I mean the planes weren't moving, the transportation wasn't flowing.

No one was staying in hotels or very limited use of hotels.

So it was guiding to our industry and all of our partners.

And so it just made us really try to advocate for them as an industry.

So we worked really hard to share the noise, to share the stories, the hardships that our partners were facing, even ourselves, that really helped shape some of the recovery programs that both the province as well as the feds provided for us being the Canadian emergency wage subsidy, the hotel subsidy that came in, some local stuff with the city that we're able to help champion with the Calgary Hotel Association.

And how has earning your designation helped to achieve your career goals? Is there any kind of advice you'd have for people that are going through it, maybe writing the CFE shortly? What would you have to say?
