So tell us about the institution at Warwick and what's its purpose? What's it trying to achieve around AI?

So we're trying to achieve a sort of enabling of our existing strategy.

You know, so the existing strategy is academic excellence, of course, and kind of in teaching, learning and research and to drive the reputation and the ranking of Warwick, you know, as high as possible.

But in the sector as it is realistically with that kind of iron financial sustainability, you know, is how do we...

So, you know, in combination of kind of looking at what are the benefits and opportunities that AI affords across each of those areas and how do we harness them, but also what is the risk? What we're trying to do is work out, you know, a responsible path through this, you know, that isn't let's go crazy and adopt everything we can and use AI for everything.

But I think from that point of view of... you've got to know what you're dealing with, right? And that's a really difficult thing at the moment, you know, with AI sort of like capability accelerating literally week to week.

All higher education institutions are in the same place and actually a lot of organisations, you know, where you've got people who are actively choosing not to, like they choose not to engage.

How are you addressing the AI literacy challenge for those who are not got their finger on the pulse and don't want to have their finger on the pulse?
