I think practices and practice managers are appropriately cynical asking the question because we speak with concern about what it means for our teams.

I completely accept what Robert says and that there are some protections built in, but it's how tightly that is controlled, how long it's for, and then the bundle of services that's tied up in that.

Because primary care networks have developed their own model of care, we're using a range of staff.

You may well have staff that in a new world are trying to or need to deliver services for which they are not qualified because the focus or emphasis has changed under the new contract.

The amount of funding is important and it's good that there are some protections built in, but it's what does the funding buy the NHS and what does that mean for the actual service delivery of at a local practice or a PCN level?

How are you going to go from these difficult current relationships to being able to take on more? That feels like the biggest challenge right now.
