pictures trust me where my stomach is underneath the camera but you can tell my face and and so so even with that when you say how what does it look like you know being married it was you know even back then it was like okay if we go overseas and back then of course we didn't have all the technology we have now now you can i mean facetime is amazing But I would only stay out of the country for, you know, for so long, maybe two weeks max that we would be away from each other, me and my husband.

So we made that you have to really have a plan before you start this thing, you know, or else everybody will dictate to you or else your career will dictate to you what you're going to do.

So it was those things.

I wouldn't be away from my kids too long.

They would travel with us.

So we would just...

How in the world can you even describe the favor of the Lord at this stage of life? Right.

How do you manage all of those different parts of your life and still maintain any kind of sense of normalcy, peace, headspace? Yeah.

Well, well, I think, um, well, first of all, the, the media has a way of making me look like super woman and, and that we, that would be the furthest thing from the truth.

Uh, I'm not super woman.

Um, but as you listed the things, um, and, and you listed, uh, at the end, you know, how do you hold onto your peace? I prior, I prioritize.

I can't get it out of my mouth today.

Prioritize, um, the peace.

That's got to be first, especially the older I get.

As you like, you know, look back on all of the experience that you've gained, what would be your advice to young women that are, you know, at the other end that are in their teens and twenties and want to follow God in whatever realm that looks like for them, but do so, you know, with integrity and, you know, what would be your advice?

It has been over 30 years since my solo records.

Before that, I sang with my brother.

Anybody remember BB and CC? And I don't even know how many years that's been.

It's been a long time, but God is faithful.

And what I love about him, he stays the same.

And one of my brothers and myself went down to be a part of a Christian group, and it was there where, uh, Tammy Faye Bakker gave us a song to sing together, l- uh, Lord Lift Us Up.

We, it was Love Lift Us Up, but we turned it.

She wanted us to change the words to Love Lift Us, Lord Lift Us Up.

And, uh, and we did that, and people saw that on television.

That was my first experience of being on TV.
