that's more than half the battle.

Oh, absolutely.

Absolutely.

And and I think I use the reputation of ethics and compliance functions to my advantage because I'm not boring.

I know that I'm not boring.

People don't know that.

So when I meet them, whether it's giving training and a webinar to a lot of different employees or even in leadership meetings where I also have to train leaders or have discussions with them, I make sure to bring a little bit of humor to it with a big smile.

So how much better did I get than that?

Right.

Right? So that's one thing.

Um, a second thing about policy is that, you know, you have this policy, but without the work needed to understand how people can, how it actually applies to people's work, that's the critical piece that's missing in terms of driving the policies home, making sure that people perfectly understand it.

So an announcement is not communication.

Um, and I think people in ethics compliance kind of use it an- you know, synonymously.

So communication by definition entails the sending and receiving of information.

So a lot of times the receiving part is missing.
