So Catherine, tell me, what about the film made you want to discuss this and see it again?

I don't remember exactly.

I feel like it was kind of a roundabout thing.

Like, this is a movie my mom loved.

And so I remember watching it with her growing up.

I remember our local theater back home did a production of it.

But the first time I saw it, I was probably around Mark's age when he first saw it.

I was around 11 or 12.

And it sounds cooler than it was.

My mom was taking flying lessons.

And her flight instructor said, hey, you should watch this movie called Top Gun.

And so we rented it and watched it as a family.
