But for the listener who may not be up to speed on what Precision Biosciences is doing and working on, tell us a little bit about the company, and then specifically your role as CSO.

Um, we actually just celebrated our 20th birthday, so we predate the vast majority of gene editing companies that are out there.
C
3:47Cassie GorsuchGUEST
Um, we have a, a rich history of working in a lot of different types of technologies between agriculture, ex vivo CAR T applications, and now we're really singularly focused on in vivo gene editing therapies.
C
4:02Cassie GorsuchGUEST
Um, we were really founded by a couple of really brilliant scientists who had previously worked in the gene editing space, uh, primarily on zinc finger nucleases.

And I think, you know, their perspective was that they could see the limitations in the technology, and they wanted to identify a better editing tool that could be utilized therapeutically to improve people's lives, and that's if you, if you know our company motto, "Dedicated to improving life." And so that's really the, the origin of, um, where Precision came from.

So talk to us a little bit about how that translates into real advantages for in vivo delivery and safety profiles.
