Just what has been the process over the years of accumulating as many different gloves as you have?
2:34
uh i'm i'm like a glove freak so i love i love gloves um i always have since i was little um even at my at my parents house i in my old room i always i have all my gloves that i've ever used so i'm like i'm like a pack rat when it comes to when it comes to having like different baseball gloves but uh yeah i have gosh i think it is close to like 12 to 14.
3:01
I got the first base glove and I got a third base glove and I have a backup third base glove.
3:07
And then there's like multiple backups of that one.
3:10
And then I got a glove that I can use it short and second.
3:13
And there's another glove I can use it short and second.
3:15
So it's just like layers of different gloves.

What's been the biggest thing for you offensively that's allowed you to take the strides that you have?
33:43
Like, what's your routine and how have you adapted so well to being a designated hitter?
33:48
Yeah, I think, uh, I mean, the first time I did it I was...
33:52
Or the, the first time I did it this year, uh, we were in, um, I think we were, we were in Baltimore and...
33:58
You know, I've told this story a couple times where the, the cage...
34:00
You, you know how far, like, the cage is from, you know, the, the, the actual, like, clubhouse and, like, the dugout and the tunnel, right? So there, I was, that was the first time I was doing it, so I was like, in my head I'm like, "Okay, I'm gonna go to the cage, get loose every single time, and then get ready for my at-bat," right? Well, turns out I was getting ready to hit, and, you know, the inning, our, uh, the inning end, our, uh...
34:22
And so I was like, "Okay, I got, I got time to, to go to the cage." So I, I go to the cage, and by the time I got there it was, like, already, like, one out in the inning.
34:31
And I was like, "Well, that's, that's not good." So I took a couple swings off the tee and I was like, "Okay, this..." I was like, "This is, this, th-" And then I got, I gotta go.
34:54
