So I wanna hear the story on where this idea came from and, and kind of where, where it all originated.

Yeah, man, it's, it's probably one of the most important times in my life, espe- certainly the most, I would say, emotional times in my life.

But, um, about two years ago, my mom passed away, man, and, uh, I just felt kind of lost, dude.

I, uh, to be honest, man, I was sitting around a campfire with my buddy, my buddy Evan, and I just was asking him questions, and we were just talking about life, and I said, "I just wanna build something," you know, like something that I'm super passionate about.

And, uh, we were actually fishing, uh, for winter runs, steelhead, and he said, "Dude, build a, a fishing app, like a, for us to see the gauges and see the, like the emergency regulations and all this." And I said...

I don't know, like when he said that, I just felt, like, joy, you know, and I never really set out to build an app that was used by so many people.

It was really just to check the rivers.
