Carter AlexanderGUEST
So in the first two years in our program, they, they're required to study ballet, modern, and jazz, and we've actually just added a requirement to take an Afro modern class as well because we find that, that they need that diversification of movement for the field now.

Carter AlexanderGUEST
You know, every company is dancing, you know, works across the board that are, you know, a blend of ballet, modern, contemporary, African-based movement.

Carter AlexanderGUEST

Are they weighing a traineeship versus coming to your school? And how, how do you have that conversation with them about the benefits of going to college versus the benefits of doing a trainee program?

Carter AlexanderGUEST
It felt weird because it was like, you know, this dude's been gone my whole life, you know, and then he comes in the house and then he's acting like my dad.

Carter AlexanderGUEST
It sounds funny, but like from how it was on the jail calls to here is it's a night and day difference.
