Michael DavidHOST
Could you tell us about the kind of imaging that you did, over what time scale you did this to pick up on atrophy?

Carsten FinkeGUEST
It's called FreeSurfer, and what you need is a T1-weighted image of the brain, typically a 3D image.

Carsten FinkeGUEST
We did not scan the patients, but we asked our collaborators worldwide if they can send us their data, and these are all scans that were acquired in clinical routine.

Carsten FinkeGUEST
This was not a prospective study, but we just collected the data that was available.

Carsten FinkeGUEST
And as a next step, we then ran these volumetric analysis using FreeSurfer, and that had volumes for all relevant substructures.
