And at the end, the end of the day that's what worked for milk and cereal and it's what works here where it's like the the only way you can get away with making a movie with close to no money is if the writing is really front and center and the performances are really front and center and he's done that twice now to tremendous effect it'll be again it'll be interesting to see what what what he does with a texas chainsaw sized budget and how much that you know becomes the event you know where you know the the mythology and the lore is already built in and it you have to sort of play into it in some way you don't you don't have to really just you know make sure that you have written an A plus original script like I I really hope that he puts the same amount of care into something like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre as he did milk and cereal because if he does great we will have two good Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies that exist now

Um, I hope the other one that you're referencing is Texas Chainsaw too, because I think like for me, that's one of my faves, fave movies.

Um, but like, I think that Texas Chainsaw as a franchise is, there's two wolves inside of me, right? Like one, it's so bonkers.

It's so silly.

We've got Texas Chainsaw 2 where they're just like running around a carnival and like having a chili cook off.

And then we've got like the later editions where you've got like Matthew McConaughey as one of the crazy hillbillies and stuff.

And like, and it has gone so far and wide that i think it and also praise so much you know in the original texas chainsaw on that idea of like dread and fear and scene setting that like it feels like a perfect playground for curry barker and then the other wolf inside of me is like can we for the love of god stop dredging up old franchises corpses and then marionetting them across the stage for a huge paycheck like i beg please that's my one wish willow like just make it stop
