What are the options and then does it have to do with the kind of work you're having?

Not at all.

So the work we're going to be doing is separate from the sedation options.

So we kind of treat that separately.

Whenever I have a new patient that is interested in sedation, we first figure out, well, what do you need, right? So if a patient comes in and they have no needs, they have no fillings needed, they have no extraction, nothing that is major, they just need a quote-unquote simple cleaning and their teeth look pretty good, then I can say, well, pretty much you might need something we call a prophylaxis or a preventive cleaning.

And most every patient will say, oh, I don't need to be sedated for that.

And you want to hopefully go towards the natural look.

We call it chiclet teeth.

Yeah.

So when the patient wants the super vibrant white, I always double down and kind of double check and kind of show them photos online and go, are you sure? Right.

That's where things like sealants come in, fluoride treatments come in to help strengthen those teeth as well.
