Well, I think she realizes that this was a breach, and whether or not it rises to censuring the mayor, she has not determined that, she claims.

Carolyn SmithGUEST
But I think she felt it was necessary that because of all the media that has been talking about this, and there's been a lot of stuff going around about it, that it was important for the council to respond in some way, yay or nay, whatever, Uh, because I think Jan, um, council member Mark said that she felt that people were thinking that the council might be condoning these actions.

Carolyn SmithGUEST
Uh, and she wanted to be able to have the council air their feelings about what they feel about this.

Carolyn SmithGUEST
Well, I guess you can't really talk about things amongst each other there with other than one person, I think, without it being agendized on the council so that the public is aware.

Carolyn SmithGUEST
able to listen to what the council deliberations and discussions, and then the public can have an opinion and express their opinion.

Carolyn SmithGUEST
So there have been some opinions already expressed about this during public comment at council meetings, so I think there are people who would like to talk to the council about it, and I think the council would like to be able to listen to them and to talk about it amongst, deliberate amongst themselves with the public hearing it all.

You know, you went in there, you had an idea of how this would go, and then with the feedback of the frontline employees, was there any surprises or any, uh, insights you wanna share there?

Carolyn SmithGUEST
there?Yeah, I mean, tru-truth be told, the leadership team can't do it without the frontline engagement.

Carolyn SmithGUEST
They know the details, they know the pain points, they know what our customers want.

Carolyn SmithGUEST
This was as much of establishing a vision to achieve the desired outcomes, but also that bottoms-up engagement of, how do we get this right? If we're driving for high-quality interactions with efficiency, what are the pain points? What are the process opportunities, and how do we redesign this? So it's not just about thinking about the AI integration, but the process end to end.

Carolyn SmithGUEST
So think about it from a value stream perspective, and they will tell it like it is.

Shirley MacbethHOST
You know, so to, to drive the behavior you want, you have to change how you measure and how you incent, and if you could, uh, go even a little deeper there, is there, you know, something that rose to the top that you're now measuring in a different way than you did before?
