And how does it work in terms of teaching tactics that will yield constructive conversational outcomes?

Caroline MehlGUEST
So our whole approach is that we partner with colleges and universities across the country to help them build campus climates that support dialogue across lines of difference.

Caroline MehlGUEST
And so we offer a holistic suite of programs that are geared towards stakeholders across campus, from college presidents to incoming students, and basically all the different stakeholders in between.

Caroline MehlGUEST
And the idea is that to create a culture that supports dialogue across lines of difference, everyone needs to be collaboratively moving towards that objective, And different stakeholders have different roles in creating those types of conditions.

Caroline MehlGUEST
So we have different programs that provide various stakeholders with the relevant skills and resources they need to contribute.

Caroline MehlGUEST
And so for students in particular, we have a program called Perspectives that teaches the fundamental skills for how to engage constructively across lines of difference.

Caroline MehlGUEST
And our program focuses on shifting what we think of as the mindset and skill set required for constructive dialogue.

Are there ways that you and your team are measuring what you hope will be constructive outcomes that this generation can make, whether it's public policy or elected office or anything else? Have you reached that stage of your project where you're trying to come up with criteria of what would make our society more constructive?
