This is a teapot.

It has a handle for holding, a spout for pouring.

It's large enough to hold four cups of water.

It's got a lid to keep the water hot and a tiny hole in the lid to let the steam out.

All great features.

It has one feature that lets it down though.

Can you tell us about, uh, how the idea really sort of came to fruition, what it means to you personally, and why is it the first event of its kind, I wonder?

Well, um, very good question.

Jeremy and I set up VetPol as a trainer of SQPs and a registration body in 2020.

That was when we got the final go-ahead and rubber stamp of approval from the Secretary of State via the VMD.

And one of the things that we were very aware of when we came in at that time was that the, the title of a suitably qualified person had been in statute.

It was a legally recognized title, and had been for s- for many years beforehand, but it was still one that was a, a, a role that was very misunderstood, uh, if, if even recognized at all.

So that was one of the things that we came in hoping that we could actually change and start to influence.
