Yes, because

I've been there.

I've been to Jason's house.

It sounds like an airplane is just hovering nearby.

And even like we went into his house, he turned off the fans that help him drown out the noise and you can still hear it.

And the reason this question is interesting is because how we measure noise.

We usually measure noise in decibels in what's called the DBA system, the A weighted decibel system.

Is that our understanding? And is that commonplace?
