What are you guys talking about? [chuckles]

Much like our chat for the previous week, it's just all kinds of things.

You know, we pretty quickly, uh, after we started walking, somehow we landed on the topic of, um, work, and it wasn't him asking, "What," you know, "what do you do?" Um, it was him...

I, I said something like, you know, "What do you, what's exciting for you right now in your life?" Or, "What are you looking forward to?" Or something like that.

And he's like, "Oh my gosh, I have this great interview coming up, and this is all the stuff I've done to prepare, and I'm so excited, and it would be amazing." And it happened to be in the sector that I work in, which he didn't know, you know? And so that went from there, talking about, um, career stuff to more about kids and, uh, different things we had in common.

Um, I had, my homework that I had done leading into the date was to read back through all of our messages, so in case we hit awkward silence, I would, you know, bring up a s- a book that he had mentioned or...

And in doing that, I found a couple of questions that I had missed answering.

So what advice do you have for anyone who's dating post-divorce and with kids? Just any general tips.

But how, I don't know if you, if your team does most of the writing, if it's your husband, but how do you handle a story where the documented record and the legend flat out disagree with one another?

Well, it's interesting because I am more of the believer in Mystery in Between is totally the skeptic.

He is absolutely the skeptic and doesn't believe, I think, probably most of what we cover.

But he understands how it could be out there.

He just doesn't, you know, that's just not his thing.

But we...

it goes back to the whole, the truth is what's paramount because as much as I want these things to be true, sometimes, I mean, you know, admittedly, there's a good number of cases that is up in the air and you can't prove anything one way or the other, but some of them, it's just like, okay, that it, it doesn't make sense for it to be anything other than, you know, X plausible, uh, explanation you know and you have to be willing to to tell the truth and we kind of we we try to model ourselves after somewhat after the y files you know where where aj tells the story and it's a great story and then he goes on to tell you why it's not true you know I don't want to be the person who always comes back and tells you it's not true because of this and this and this and this.

For somebody listening right now who's thinking about starting their own strange little corner of the internet, what's one thing you wish someone had told you or you and your husband on day one?
