Carol, what's the biggest thing holding your business back right now?
0:03
I'm running two communities.
0:05
One is just about to launch and one has been going for about a year.
0:10
And I think the big obstacle there was kind of standing out from all the other people who do what I'm doing, which is help people launch or relaunch their community on school.
0:22
And I've kind of had a breakthrough with it in that I ran it I took my class and turned it into a 90-day sprint.
0:30
And that worked a lot better than just sort of leaving people to their own devices to work on it.
0:35
They weren't doing it.

for somebody who a lot of our listeners are like done for you service providers like I'm a brand strategist and designer some are copywriters photographers whatever and I think a lot of them are part of communities they love maybe have aspirations of creating their community but get hung up on this like but what What should it be? How do I come up with an idea for a community? Do you have any advice around that?
23:09
Well, it's about audience building.
23:12
What do people respond to that you post? And, you know, where are you seeing unfilled needs where somebody might pay to...
23:23
And it's a changing situation.
23:25
You'll constantly be needing to give them new info.
23:28
It's like if your industry is totally static and nothing's happening, you could create a course and stick it on Teachable and let people buy it.
23:35
And you set up a funnel to go to it and you're done.
