Right.
3:55
And my husband and I had gone through two, like two stages of people losing their husbands.
4:04
Um, we had four, for example, about 12 years ago, just right in a row.
4:11
And we live in a, in a lovely spot, uh, on the beach, and several of these widows chose to come to our home almost as a retreat after losing their husbands, and that was kind of the beginning of at least trying to understand that journey.
4:35
Then fast-forward about three years ago, same sort of thing happened.
4:40
We had about four or five ladies in our pretty close inner circle become widows, and I had the opportunity to actually, um, fly out to Seattle and spend two weeks with our dear friend.
4:58
And my eyes were really opened with that experience because it was 24/7 with her, and it was just about a month after she had lost her husband.
5:40
Yeah
3:22
Sometimes organization is ministry because every good system creates more room
3:29
for people.
3:31
So I'm actually, while I'm in a very heartfelt ministry and there's a lot of human contact and back and forth, I'm also behind the scenes managing all of this stuff and trying to make sure that I do that in the most efficient way.
3:54
And delegation, you're right, is huge.
3:57
And I'm I'm actually, it's been fun because as we've gotten our widows together and as they have become more healthy in this community, they are volunteering to do some of the aspects of the work.
4:15
So they, while they're the recipients, they're also becoming part of the team.
4:19
That's awesome.
6:40
Give them one golden nugget that they can leave with and actually apply in their lives.
