So, Carol, how did you decide which sessions to attend?

Okay, I'm going to be perfectly honest.

First of all, who did I know there? I knew that if I went to Michael Dejuani's presentation, I would get something of real interest and something that I could take home with me.

But at the same time, being also aware that there would be other people there that I didn't know that could offer something equally rich.

So that it is really, really difficult.

And you do tend to.

to go with some people you know but it was a bit of a half and half and also what kind of content could i benefit from and take back i was interested in the end in sitting in on the australian news project the school newspaper project which really cemented for me what media literacy can look like when it's rooted in authentic student production and real audiences, because they just nailed it.
