oh wow that's so exciting

yeah so that I would say really shaped me early on in terms of my love of dance and and the the way that dance or dance has this way of creating families and also spontaneous communities and I guess families are a version of community and That is something that I've pulled through, a thread I've pulled through into my professional life.

And from there, I went to New York.

I had a couple of stops along the way, a couple of ballet companies, but ended up going to school in New York City and then stayed on as a as a freelance project dancer.

But when I graduated from school, I was really inspired by all the people that I had gone to school with all the dance makers, the performers, the creative minds, and that the kind of how that environment really nurtured collaboration.

So it had a very held close to the chest kind of feeling, but not in a... secretive or hiding way but just in a very personal way that these things that you're looking for are within you they're in you they're within your sphere and they've been there all along and you're just rediscovering them and allowing them to have the space that that they need and that they're calling out for so there's a lot of longing in the piece but also just a lot of satisfaction too it's very satisfying to watch.
