So it's about creating a, a better environment for women.
12:48
I, I think you make, you make a really interesting point there saying that, um, that, that one factor, um, that definitely needs to change is, is kind of to, just to make society an easier place to, to have children, right? Like make, you know, maybe, maybe working part-time more acceptable, um, change, change laws of, you know, how much time can, can a new mother, um, get time off before she has to go to work, all that stuff.
13:15
But the other thing is, I think, to, to make it more appealing for women to have children is to, to have the other side of the partnership, uh, the men in this case, kind of to, to contribute more, right? Because even though we say, you know, especially in our, in our free societies where you are seeing this issue that yes, of course, you know, there are equal rights and, and mothers and fathers contribute equally.
13:39
But the reality is that most of, of childcare and the emotional care, and then later, you know, all these tasks of, of helping with homework, driving kids somewhere, all that stuff still mostly lies on the mother's shoulders.
13:54
And I think that's, that's a big factor also why, why some women who might, you know, ideally have, have 2.4 children shy away from that because they know from, from experience and, and seeing the world around them that most of the work will, will still be with them.
14:13
So how, how, how can you change that?

Because his, his point is that w- women have recalibrated, I love how he used that word, a number of times, their, um, their, their preferences or their, their needs.
27:01
Well, I guess it's just, it's, it's that women have more freedom now, and they don't have to have, you know, a man and 2.4 children a- and a white picket fence.
