Um, but essentially it comes down to two nuggets, Emily.

The idea of relational intelligence, understanding cognitively how we relate, is the key here.

And the two pieces are that we relate to ourself.

We are building our own identity from birth on, and we relate to others.

And I introduce in the article the CORE four connectors, and they're really just the psychology of human connection, that when we have a healthy, trusted relationship, when we have one of those figures in our life, whether they're in our home and they're a parent or a sibling, or they're at school.
