Can you please give us a brief overview of the SAVE Act?

Yeah, so the SAVE Act was a bill that was proposed in front of Congress.

It thankfully is a dead bill at this point in time.

It proposed to require proof of citizenship in order to register to vote.

So that includes requiring a driver's license in addition to a passport or a birth certificate.

So we were very concerned about this legislation and a lot of our advocates in the civil rights communities and allies were also very concerned as well.

So What we were concerned about on the disability side specifically was how difficult it would be for individuals to register to vote.
