What we expected in Darwin, we got in Mackay, and the series ends 1-1.

1-1.Well, a very convincing comeback win for Australia in what has been largely an unconvincing series performance from the home team.

We expected them to come back hard against Bangladesh after the shocking loss in Darwin.

And this has been a bowling masterclass from Mitchell Starc and co.

But you wonder if Australia have gained the kind of positives that they would have wanted to gain coming into the series.

What's the sort of the mindset and the changes in preparation for that?

Yeah, I think it's really exciting.

Um, obviously got a World Cup coming up in a year's time, so [chuckles] I always feel like there's a World Cup coming around every single year.

Did you prove something to yourself in these two test matches?

No, no.

Uh, I think I've had plenty of good performances for Australia.

Um, it just have- yeah, hasn't quite been there at, at test level yet.

Um, yeah, I think it's, yeah, probably just something to build on going, going forward.

Cam, I read somewhere you went back and had a look at a journal that you'd written about when you were successful.

Can you talk us through a little bit about that process? Yeah, no, no, no, I think I just...

What do you think, um, what have you done differently to prepare, um, your methods out in the middle? Was there something mentally that, that has, that has changed?

Like, how important was it when you look at, look back at it now?

Yeah, for sure.

Um, I think at the time I, I thought I needed a rest, but I think a lot of stuff has, a lot of great stuff has really come out of it.

Um, I think that's the beauty of, of having a really strong domestic competition is that you can go back and, and play some really high quality cricket and, and kind of work things out.

So, um, yeah.

No, a lot of, a lot of positives came out of it.

Where's your body at with your bowling, and how comfortable are you with it?

Yeah, no, body's really good.

What has that journey been like?

Yeah, I think it's just, it's been a few years trying to, trying to work out how to play my best game in Test cricket.

I think when I, when I first started, um, I was definitely a lot more limited as a cricketer.

Um, I think when you, when you're 21 you don't really know how to, how to play against the big boys and, and I'm really trying to work out how to do it.

I think it's taken me, yeah, full circle really.

Um, yeah, I thought I needed a bit more of a, a back foot game, so I try to work on that.

Um, I try to fix a few deficiencies.

Have you evolved better, like, on alongside that?

Yeah.

He's like, "Will you marry me?" She's like, "Yeah, great." Posts the picture on Instagram, like, "I'm marrying this guy.

He's the best." And some woman comments on it saying, "He proposed to me in the exact same hotel room in the exact same way last month, and then he ran off and disappeared.

[laughing] And now she's getting married to you." And she's like, "Unlucky, bitch." [laughing]

Me and you, baby.

So he starts getting loaded, like, eyes on him for this and just building notoriety.

Katie Price keeps going, "He's not a swindler.

What have you made of the last couple of months?

Oh, it's been awesome.

Obviously, yeah, to be in the position we are now, I probably wouldn't have guessed it before the tour.

I think, yeah, there were so many moving parts.

Weren't sure about the opener, who that was going to be.

I think Jake's been awesome for us.

Yeah, Hoff going down, Sean Abbott going down, not really having...
