But, uh, let me just ask the first question that I'm sure many people wanna know is w- like, how did you get into puppetry?

I've never not been into puppetry.

I mean, I feel like, I, my second word was "dord," which meant Big Bird to, you know, young, young Cam.

And, um, I've just always had this fascination with the Muppets and Jim Henson, and I always say that any, any kind of other love for anything comes from me finding it through the Muppets.

So I fell in love with filmmaking and television and certain actors, um, all because they, you know, were a part of this world, and that's how I began getting interested in puppetry, was because I l- was learning all about Jim Henson and Frank Oz and the people who made, who, who helped create those worlds.

And when I found out that they also, you know, pr- first and foremost considered themselves puppeteers and filmmakers, I was like, "Well, now we need to learn more about this." So I've, I've just always been the, the geeky Muppet kid, and I feel like only in the last maybe 10, 15 years or so, like it's actually caught on with people being interested in it, as opposed to just like, "What's this guy doing with his puppets?" [laughs]
