You as an assistant coach, were there any indications or concern that the mines mightn't have been right?

No, I mean, you know, you've been around sports for so long.

Sometimes you think you know and you gauge where the playing group are based on what they're doing pre-game.

But there's been a number of games in which I've felt like, oh, geez, we're a little bit off.

And then they come out in the first 15 minutes like unbelievably explosive footy.

So, no, I felt like the boys had a really good focus and a really... um, good preparation leading into Sydney and we're really keen and determined to get a result.

But as it panned out, we were, we were slightly off and, uh, and, uh, and our headspace just wasn't as, as focused as, um, as what it needed to be.

And then what ended up happening because you've got the coach's box and Fags down on the dugout on the headset.
