How is the car adapted exactly? How does it work?
28:14
So in the footwell, I have a foot steering plate.
28:18
So I steer with my left foot and then I accelerate and brake using my right foot as you would normally.
28:25
And then also we're going to be together with me and the team, we're going to be working on different kind of solutions on how to do things like, for example, take the harness off myself, like disengage the harness and open the car door.
30:26
And have you got heroes as drivers? Are you kind of into F1 and all sort of forms of motorsport?
30:32
Yeah, so growing up, I was a massive fan and I still am a massive fan of the MotoGP.
30:36
So my idol then was Valentino Rossi, who's now retired.
30:40
But now he's transitioned into the racing car scene.
23:03
Those are all I would imagine that people would imagine are the biggest hurdles, but there's still others for you to be able to get the license you need, right? To race?
23:13
Yeah.
23:14
Yeah.
23:14
So for example, to get my, to obtain my racing license, I have to be able to provide a video of me exiting the vehicle within 10 seconds so that's from me being sat in the car with like the harness on and the door fully closed so currently me and the team are working to try and find like a solution for me to be able to disengage the harness myself and and open the car door all independently and obviously then get out within within that time scale um but it's something that their team engineers you know uh relishing because they they love a challenge you know they love trying to tackle the next big obstacle
24:10
we always ask people who do, you know, what are considered extreme sports, why take, you know, extreme speeds, do the things that would scare so many other people?
24:22
I don't know.
24:23
It's the thrill of, you know, travelling at them high speeds and, you know, where everything kind of, I mean, it sounds silly, but everything kind of becomes quiet.
24:33
I mean, which you might find sounds insane considering you're inside of a race car with, like a v6 or v8 engine roaring away at you but i mean to me it's going to sound a little bit morbid but maybe that that near-death experience kind of that's what gives me like the kick if if that makes sense because you know traveling high speeds you know you are pretty much millimeters away from from death if anything does go wrong in in the worst case scenario um but that doesn't kind of hold me back that just i know it gives me that urge to to go to keep going
13:42
Aaron Morgan, who's been racing with them for a while, you'll hear him shortly, and rookie driver Callum Smith, who spoke to me, as you'll hear, from his own adapted road car.
13:54
I was born actually without arms, so I have grew up learning to use my feet to do everything.
14:00
The simplest way I can explain it is my feet are like your hands.
14:03
You know, picking up a pen to write, I do that with my toes.
14:05
And then my newest thing is, is obviously driving.
14:08
So I'm currently in my, um, standard road-going car.
14:12
I've got, in the footwell, obviously my car's automatic, so I've got the accelerator and the brake, and then on the left-hand side, next to the brake, I've got a, a foot steering plate.
16:05
And have you had a go in a car yet, or is that still under, under development, as it were?
10:36
You were mentioning some recreational, uh, recreation, uh, drugs and, [lips smack] uh, w- what did your life kind of look like in terms of lifestyle before?
10:48
Yeah.
10:48
So, so basically I went from basically just being like a BMXer, you know, at the skate park, like smoking and smoking weed and things like this.
10:57
And, uh, and then I w- I went to, uh, I went traveling and just carried that party boy person with me, and then just had 12 months of drinking, smoking, and just, just being an idiot, being young and...
11:15
And then when I got home, there was, uh, a moment that was a really striking moment for me.
11:20
I, I, I went for breakfast with my mum, who I hadn't seen for probably eight months at this point.
11:29
And, uh, I went for breakfast with her and, uh, she asked me what I wanted to drink, and I said, "A pint of beer." And it was, uh, probably 8:30 in the morning.

6 MINS LATER

17:37
[chuckles]
0:51
You know, he started off right the first couple of rounds and then he was just getting really knocked from pillar to post.
0:55
I'm worried about the fella's health, and the lad's been in the game for a long time.
0:59
The way he fights, more importantly, with Joe Joyce, this isn't a Ben Whittaker-type fighter, class, slat, slat, stylish.
1:06
He gets hit.
1:07
I think Fury probably does the 12 better and could probably outlast him and...
1:11
But I think Joshua definitely hits the harder and I think if Joshua does land, then he can get rid of him.
1:16
If the fight goes late, then I think you favor Fury at 147.
5:37
Shaving.
