I was just going to say, is there any cases that really haven't left your mind that you can't explain that you wish you could or just that you that haven't left you?
20:14
Yeah.
20:14
So here's the build up.
20:15
Here's the big one that I like.
20:17
And this takes us back to 1987.
20:20
So we got Dewi Rees doing that study.
20:22
So remember, he was the GP in North Wales interviewing 293 widows and widowers.

[upbeat music] Would you say that most people who work in the industry believe in the paranormal? Because I feel like having an experience and saying, "Ooh, that was really weird," and attributing it to something not paranormal is very different from being like, "I actually cannot."
14:32
Yeah, in the lab, in your research or something you read, what was something that you discovered?
14:39
When it comes to what I've read, that there's loads of things that have a permanent question mark on them because no one's studied them further.
14:49
There's loads of classic cases of mediumship.
14:51
There's when I was involved in the Bigelow Essay Awards.
14:54
So that was for the best evidence for life after death.
14:57
My assignment in a writing team of three other people was, was I had to look for the best evidence in haunting cases and deathbed apparitions where seemingly there was no conventional explanation going on and for the hauntings one of the examples I gave that is a classic case was called the Cheltenham ghost and early on was known as the Morton ghost and it was the early inspiration for the woman in black that there was this apparition over a long period of time that was reported by the medical student who wrote it up by the name of Morton Where this apparition appeared so often, they could experiment with it and follow it around the house.
15:31
And it was seen from the window by the gardeners.

41 MINS LATER

56:46
So how do you think that might play out in relation to this?
34:35
Is whatever energy is possibly from a dead person manifesting the phenomenon, is it all happening localized in the instrument in the person's home, like in the phone itself? And that was a question they attempted to answer.
34:53
Yeah, and it's a case by case thing, really.
34:55
There's no sweeping answer.
34:57
You broke down earlier all the ways in which things can happen.
35:01
You know someone's dead and you get a call.
35:02
You don't know someone's dead and you get a call and you find out afterwards that they passed at the time the call would have taken place.
35:09
You make a call and it could be a dead person, a living person.
39:35
You come in, you update the world on, is this stuff still going on with, as you pointed out, cell phones and email and stuff like that? And we just barely brushed onto that, but is the answer yes?
