I'm not Jewish, by the way.

My husband is, but I was born and raised Southern Baptist, so that adds another interesting dynamic to the whole story is that I'm here now.

I'm an Israeli citizen because my husband and, um, I ended up here doing this crazy thing, running baseball in Jerusalem, in Israel's eternal capital.

I'm named after my great-grandmother, Callie, but my dad was with the California Angels, so it kind of just made sense.

And so my earliest memories are actually in Anaheim in the, in the big A, um, playing on the field.

I actually used to play with the Boone Brothers.
