I kind of knew that it wasn't going to perform the way that a lot of my other books have performed.

And I was okay with that because I had spent so much time with this story and I was really proud of it.

And even if it didn't do anything, I was still so proud of it.

So I pulled the trigger, released it, and it did not do well.

It died a death immediately, you know, and I was devastated.

I'll be honest, you know, it's never easy when you kind of like throw something that means so much to you out into the world and it doesn't do well.

But it's all I see on my, on my algorithm, you know, on my FYP, and I'm just like, "This can't be real." Like, this isn't ...

You know, people doing the craziest cosplays and spending so much money on their outfits, and time and effort, and doing like really cool ... like acting out scenes with each other and just being goofy and, and all the stuff with Carrion too obviously is just so fun.

So yeah, I don't know.

It, it really doesn't feel real, and I keep having to remind myself to like take a beat and stop and appreciate what's happening and I'm just so grateful.

You know? Like, I'm really deeply touched by everyone's support and enthusiasm for the characters and the story, and it just ...
