So can you tell me more about like what's what is in the U.S. culture? Is it just we have money and so therefore we want what we want and we're going to go out and get it? Or what is causing and driving the sex industry here in the U.S.?
2:58
Yeah, I mean, I'll kind of talk to you about what I'm seeing and what we believe as Christians obviously is going to be kind of a little different.
3:05
When we really look and as an organization, we kind of study it, look at it.
3:09
For us, I think it's just part of culture.
3:12
So when you look at like kind of what we will say is that we believe sex trafficking starts in the junior high hallway.
3:17
What I mean by that is as soon as a young girl hits junior high, it's almost like she's told by culture the most important thing about her is her body.
3:24
And then to a young guy, he's basically told like his value is going to be based off his body count.

system.

with not really knowing anybody other than the sports kids and by the time i showed up to summer tryouts it was they were almost over for summer league so i didn't make the team because i didn't know when the tryouts were because i wasn't part of the public school system so i'm like one of three kids that gets cut because i show up the last day of a five-day tryout you know and it's like i don't you don't really have a chance unless you just go crazy and um so i'm already hit with an identity crisis right there i'm like oh no now i'm going to a new school the one group of people that i should be hanging out with i i'm not i don't know how to hang out with them so i try out for cross country because i knew the coach and i honestly love her but i hated cross country in junior high it was like you ran a mile and in high school it was like a different level but there was a lot of older girls in cross country And I started getting attention from them and I realized that's how I was going to fit in.
10:16
That's how I was going to get popular.
10:18
And even one of the girls threw me up against the locker and started making out with me.
10:22
She was a senior.
10:22
I was a freshman.
10:24
And so I started getting other guys thinking I was cool because of that.
