And was that what Bradley was like to work with?

Oh yeah.

Yeah.

He would take, you know, we, we would talk story, you know, and, and, you know, it'd be like a bunch of us hanging around, drinking beers, smoking and joking.

And, and, you know, somebody would tell a story and then that would turn into like, uh, you know, uh, um, You know, pissed in some girl's drink, threw a bike into the pool.

That wasn't all us.

That was our friends, you know? But it wasn't just Brad doing all this stuff.

about that because you had this massive success in 1996, but you're also navigating grief at the exact same time.

Wow.

And so he said, "Well, come on down to the studio.

Donnell is gonna record you guys, and just, just, uh, you know, have some fun.

You know, do what you guys do." And so we go down to the studio expecting to see Mr.

Brett there and everything, and he's like, "Oh, well, he's, he's in, uh, he's in New York.

He's signing a, a deal with Atlantic for Bad Religion right now, so he's not gonna be able to be here." So we stayed there, we knocked out a bunch of tracks, and the engineer went to go get some, uh, food, pick up food delivery or something like that.

And so we hit rewind on the tape machine, boxed up the two-inch tape, and took it with us, left a note said, "Have Mr. Brett call us when he returns." [laughs] And, uh, you know, Brett was pretty upset.
