Right.

In the last six years s- with the changes that have happened with COVID and, and the different lives we all lead now, digital devices are everywhere, and the problems that we have seen functionally that have emerged are unlike anything I thought was possible.

But we've been changing our protocols by the week in terms of what's needed to use the eyes to rewire the software of the brain to change how we're using vision.

And yet most people, "Well, if it's not in the textbooks or it wasn't, if I wasn't taught this in school, I can't possibly go down that path." I'm fortunate in that myself and my team, we learn from our patients, and we constantly try and challenge our status quo to deliver the best results in the shortest amount of time, but that means we are reiterating what we're doing daily and coming up with new protocols where we can now reverse so many things that have occurred.

We can rewire the brain after concussion or brain injury.

We can make it so that even though we get older and our arms aren't long enough and we're holding things farther away, just like any other system in our body, we can train our visual system to not be as dependent on support, but also to open up so much of our world.
14:15
And I think just going back to what you said initially, we all hold stress in our eyes, and certain disciplines and, and different practices around the world do eye exercises and preach them, and they're starting from an early age, versus in this country, it's, "Well, this, they don't work," or there's not enough protocols or systems out there because I think a lot of people want a quick fix.

Did that happen for you when you were in school? Tell us a little bit about your background and what led to that.
