Well, yeah, the owners paid for their greed, but so did the players and the game, and everyone paid for their greed.

Um, you know, first of all, the proposals that we've, we've made, we've made a, a set of proposals this round of bargaining.

Uh, are actually designed to help even further the lower revenue teams, and we actually made a proposal that would, would allow them to share more revenues.

It would actually result in, I think, like ninety percent of all the TV revenues, central and local, being shared.

It would actually further, you know, provide resources for the small market teams, all of whom can afford to compete right now.

So, you know, we, we're sensitive to, uh, to that issue that the owners have said.

And again, we've made proposals that are designed to incentivize and reward teams f- for competing.

Where would you say things have changed, and how have you gotten to be a, a smarter and better labor leader?

How can we get on the same page as far as, like, what players want, and also what fans want, and also what the owners want, and create that same language within the context of what you were just talking about?

I, I think there are some common interests, or there should be some common interests.

Um, we both have an interest in seeing that, uh, that the sport continues to grow.

We both have an interest in seeing that, that fans, uh, have a good experience a- and are happy.

Uh, we both have an interest in, in seeing that, you know, the game doesn't get shut down.

Hopefully, those common interests, you know, at the end of the day, take precedence.

But, um, you know, I mean, they, they've put something on the table that they know- They know the last time they put it on the table led to a massive work stoppage.

Um, I know we talk so much about the big stuff, but this is big, too, that I feel like sometimes gets swept under the rug
