It's a tremendous honor for a Jewish woman to be buried.

Whether she should have been there or not is separate.

There was big fights when she passed away, who should be officiating, the Orthodox, the Sephardic ones, the, the non-religious, the m- the non-Orthodox rabbis.

But that aside, Simone Veil was a person who embodied this Jewishness after the war and, and she said, "I felt that my job as a survivor of the war wasn't to immerse herself in religion, but was to immerse myself in making sure that the Holocaust couldn't happen again and in this desire for real human rights." She became an attorney, and she died the most beloved woman, Jewish or otherwise, probably in the last 100 years in France.

But there are people who have this Jewishness to them, and they take their Jewishness, and they take the, the, the fire of it, and they push it in multiple different directions.

And when it arrives at its destination, it's very often not a Jewish place at all.
