Or is it just one of those things where you're just trying to find some consistency?
28:41
Yeah.
28:41
I've got a, um, a warehouse back in Jupiter, and I go in there and I've ...
28:47
I forget what it was, maybe two weeks ago.
28:49
It was the week of the Byron Nelson.
28:50
We, I flew back home just to spend Monday and Tuesday at the house, and, um, I went in the studio on Monday after dropping my son off at school, and I broke out every single putter that I have.
29:00
And there was probably 45 of them that were just on the wall, and I just went through and hit putts with each one of them, just to get a feel like, right? Yeah, I, I have each one of those putters for a reason, for some feel or whatever it might be.
31:43
Uh, well, we'll get you out of here with, I guess, asking you what you know about TPC Toronto, how you're preparing, how you feel about your chances this week.
11:31
Yeah.
11:32
But, um, I think maybe one thing is, like, the crowd.
11:35
You can kind of see it now with the Knicks, and if the crowd gets rowdy, it can get behind you, or it can, it can kind of backfire you, and it can kind of push you one way or another and go, go that direction.
11:46
And sometimes it can motivate me when you get a little crowd.
11:49
But then obviously if you're succeeding and progressing in the, in the, the way that you would hope to, they can be on your side, and that's a incredible feeling, right? 'Cause we don't get that, we don't have that team atmosphere that teams do.
12:02
And you can see it, you see a momentum shift in the building of whatever sport you play.
12:06
We don't really see that.
12:32
Or is it just one of those things where you're just trying to find some consistency?
94:20
Was that shocking when you got back and you're like, "Oh, shit, there's all this stuff that I c- haven't tested yet?"
94:25
Yeah.
94:25
So they had, they had a truck on LIV, but it, it basically...
94:29
The guy Ben who was running it, he had a bunch of my old equipment, or not my old equipment, but, like, backup sets, or, like, a backup set of irons, some wedges, things like that.
94:41
But I never had the opportunity to be like, "Oh, wow," like, "There's a whole bunch of putters sitting here on the green, and I'm not putting well.
94:48
I can try this." Or if there's a driver, a new driver that comes out and I can test that and see where that's at.
94:54
So yeah, it's a bit weird.
99:46
Um, is that, is that really that strange, that you don't even think about yardages?
56:38
for me and um you know i think uh yeah you just get it's just more fun honestly it really is and you know you get to you get to enjoy the the good time the good things you know together but you also get to you know the tough times out there you get to have someone to lean on as well which is always nice
56:56
yeah i mean not to cut you guys off here but i think it's interesting because yeah i see a different side of them too when we're playing um this event, just even thus far and even in the practice rounds, and it's quite interesting.
57:06
I'm not in those team rooms on the Ryder Cup or on Europe's side, but I could see why he plays so well in the In a team format, it makes complete sense once you're out there.
57:19
He enjoys it.
57:19
He thrives off it.
57:22
If I hit a good shot, he's got a little more pep in his step, and then all of a sudden it just snowballs into something good.
57:29
You can even see it.
58:23
Does the PGA Tour need a little bit more of this, Brooks, in terms of changing up the format once in a while, make something a little bit more fun? Are you good with kind of one week a year as just a little bit of a different taste? I
124:07
Yeah.
124:07
I, I, I think it is.
124:09
Uh, hey, you know what's funny? I looked at the, my phone, and I saw the (laughs) the text that was like, "Hey, it's open.
124:18
We're good.
124:19
All right?" And I was like, "Okay, all right, great." And I felt like I literally checked my phone five seconds later, and then boom, here I am, 17 minutes late.
124:26
(laughs)
125:05
How are, how are you feeling about this weekend?
125:07
I feel good.
