So why do you think you're not able to, or have not yet, been able to rebuild as quickly as you did the first time around?

I showed up to a town that I never lived in before.

Like, I don't know anyone there, right? So that was a pretty big thing to overcome.

I'll be real with you.

So the first place I worked at when I first started lashing in Kona, well, for one, I didn't know anyone, right? And, and I was desperate, so I, like, took the first room that was offered to me, 'cause I didn't know anyone.

So I just was like, "Okay, I'll work here." And then I realized that the humidity levels in the rooms are way too high, so everybody's lashes that I did in that business didn't last.

How well did they look after you in this facility when you were in the advanced stages of your pregnancy?

They looked out for us really well once...

I had to go and be induced, so they took me out, uh, like Wednesday evening, and I went to the hospital, got induced, and I had him later on that night.

And we get to stay there 24 to 48 hours, depending on whether you bottle feed or breastfeed.

What, what would you tell your son when he is old enough about where he was born and the circumstances in which he was born?

Um, I really haven't thought about that question yet.

Um, I would just tell him that mommy made a big mistake, and it was for the better why I came here.

It made mommy learn a lot, and I hope he can learn from my mistakes and see how embarrassing it was to be here, and hopefully he won't ever come to a place like this.

... like, God, I'm just feeling a little off, and not as energetic and as focused as I usually was before that.

So at the time, I had been introduced to the work done by the Amen Clinics, and how they do brain scans, and I thought, "Oh, this neuroscience thing is really cool, so I'm gonna go get my brain scanned to find out if I can get any answers as to why I'm feeling this way." And when you have...

When you do that, you fill out a big old intake form, and on there one of the questions was asking about, you know, if I felt like I drank too much or my relationship with alcohol.

So I clicked or I checked the, the button, yeah, I'm thinking about my relationship with alcohol.

So went ahead, did the brain scan, got my results back, and definitely there were some parts of my brain that just weren't firing like normal.

Like, they, you know, the blood flow wasn't g- going where it needed to go.

Yeah.

I think at my campus especially, um, people are very upset with the United States and, and their involvement.

I think that a lot of direction is pointed at Israel and, um, questioning our allies and, and the motives, um, in that way.

Are people gathering in the, in the sq-square, in the quad? What kind of activities are you seeing this manifest in?

I'm mostly seeing things, uh, through online platforms, people on, um, Instagram or, or Twitter just, you know, really going in at, um, President Trump and, and being upset that, you know, gas prices might go up and, um, forever war.

Like, people really, really do not want boots on the ground in this, uh, circumstance.

So-

But that's okay 'cause it's like what I chose to do, and I'm happy doing it, but it's just balancing out, like is it better to just ride the wave of it right now, or is there like any tips you can give of making it like anything I could do, you know?

And I think like the more you spoke, I've realized like I do know that anyway, but it's just nice to hear someone who knows more about money than me right now to like confirm that, that it's just a season and then you gotta-

Are there any adjustments that you would make to the game that might, um, make Mike feel a little bit more confident in playing in terms of rules or equipment?

I don't know that there are any...

Right, I don't...

Mike would feel comfortable if there were better rules.

Like, he was talking to me about, "Well, how do you know, you know, the stealing base rule is different?" And w- and I was like, "Well, no, we'll just steal the bases.

There's no rules about, about when you can lead off.

It's just s- some people lead off and some people don't." So I- it's, it's a very, uh, welcoming, easygoing type of game anyway.

And then he's kinda like, you know, down there, I'm giving him head.

He's like, "Babe, won't you do it, please? Just once.

It won't change anything with us." And he really had to convince me, because I'ma tell you, I, I was a hoe.

Um, he passed away, but Jordan's my husband.

Um, he passed away before I ever met Jordan, and, um, he was, uh, in the military, so Jordan has his dog tags and a key to the apartment that they shared together, and he's always hung it up along with his sweatshirt, like, on the wall.

In our apartment, he put a nail in the wall to hang up a sweatshirt and never wear it, and I was, uh... 'cause he never talked about it for, like, the first six to nine months we were together.

It was just there, and I was like, "Okay, I respect that.
