What was it like watching them tell their story in their own words?

It was incredible.

I think I came into the event thinking they're going to talk about what they've done.

They're going to talk about the little tasks that they'd completed.

They're going to talk about when they had to build a bridge and when someone cheated and when they were doing the little activities.

And they did talk about that, but they talked about so much more.

And they talked about kind of their own personal journeys.

How do you think schools could get better at recognising leadership that isn't necessarily loud or visible or confident?
