and you know what a lot of people would be perfectly happy with 40 000 a month in sales
18:05
i had a half million dollar business you know at the time i i think i was making about eight thousand dollars a month profit i recouped back the 120 000 i put into this but i mean i was working really hard you know and i wasn't working really hard just to stay in the same spot but unfortunately i was stuck for 18 months and i think the reason i was stuck was i was trying too many things but i didn't really have one thing working i was just going here here i mean it was shiny object syndrome and then at the time i paid a gentleman i'm a really good marketer 12 500 we sat down for one day and we just said let's try to get really really good at one thing like all in one thing get one thing to work and then once you get that to work then you can go a little wider okay and i think that's a key note for anyone listening like you gotta get one thing to work first.
18:57
But then it's good to think about a couple other things that you're not relying on one thing.
19:00
So long story short, I doubled down on really one key thing in the business.
19:05
And then the business went from 40K to 80K to 160K to 320 to 640 to 1.2 million to 2 million back-to-back months.
19:13
So I think initially the key was having that focus on that one thing.
19:17
And I think that's a key note for a lot of business owners.

a

Where do you see it going?
20:09
Yeah, I think the big goal at PG is we wanna meet people where they're at.
20:12
You know, like I think golfers are all at different points.
20:14
Like I'll give you an example.
20:15
Maybe I'm a COVID golfer.
20:17
I'm a little shy.
20:19
I don't wanna take a lesson.
23:25
What, what say you?
10:36
So what are, you know, some of the early days of performance golf like?
10:39
Yeah, I mean, I think early on, what's interesting is I had a full-time job.
10:42
I worked for a software company.
10:44
I was one of the first couple employees.
10:46
It was a $2 million company when I started there.
10:49
And, you know, the company went from 2 million to 100 million while I was there.
10:53
And I sold a really big chunk of that 100 million.
