Do they not understand that?
25:44
Oh, they very much understand that.
25:45
And they don't seem to care because it's all about, like I said, it's all about their own affirmation of their identity, of their chosen identity.
25:53
And I mean, I understand that a lot of these people are dealing with a lot of distress from a lot of different reasons.
26:00
But those things should be dealt with in counseling.
26:02
They should be receiving real help, not affirmation of an identity that puts others at risk.
26:07
Right.
28:38
So what happens next? What decision is the judge being asked to make at this stage? When might we get a ruling, and could this ultimately, sadly, end up before the Kansas Supreme Court?

Do they not understand that?
9:34
Oh, they very much understand that.
9:36
And they don't seem to care because it's all about, like I said, it's all about their own affirmation of their identity, of their chosen identity.

But those things should be dealt with in counseling.

They should be receiving real help, not affirmation of an identity that puts others at risk.
9:58
Right.
14:28
So what happens next? What decision is the judge being asked to make at this stage? When might we get a ruling, and could this ultimately, sadly, end up before the Kansas Supreme Court?
28:02
Now, what brought you to decide to do something like this, just so, such an innovative approach?
28:08
You know, we really wanted to come into a local market.
28:11
I mean, we all, actually, we all just came back from Health, you know.
28:14
Massive event, lots of stuff going on, but what I feel like some of these bigger events are missing is true thought leadership and connection-
28:30
Yeah.
28:30
So we've got, you know, some great thought leaders, speakers, panelists to really talk about how they're trying to change the way that healthcare is delivered, so.
6:41
So Brittany, tell me a little bit more about how motherhood has changed or deepened your understanding of God's character.
6:49
Whew.
6:50
Um, I, well, I read this quote while we were kinda preparing for today, that is from a professor that I really admire, Howard Hendricks.
6:57
And he said that the process of shaping a child shapes the mother herself.
7:04
And it put language around what I have experienced this whole time as my kids are growing and they need different things, the way in moments where I think I'm teaching them, I will have that revelation of, oh, wow, this was for me.
7:18
I, I think about, you know, when Caleb was a baby, and as all babies do, when they're hungry, they will let you know.
7:48
Oh
7:48
... and do I think he's not listening, or he is, doesn't know what I need, or he, he can't tell what it is that I want? And all the while, he's in the next room working on it, you know, in his timing.
