Get into, like, pandemic, then I was doing, you know, millennial crash doom on the face, like that kinda shit.

That was the humor of the time.

Now I'm almost in my 30s.

You know, I'm hitting that Carrie Bradshaw pretty hard.

It's like a, a, an evolution that I think my fans, I'm, like, tugging them along behind me on that journey.

So sometimes they're like, "I wish she would do faces." And then I'm like, "But trust me, like, walk with me."

I understand.

Mm-hmm.

So this idea of e- everything being extravagant and beautiful and ridiculous, like, let's combine those two worlds, and it was almost like the more ridiculous the setting is, the more they'll lean in.

Yeah.

Royal Court is, is my baby, and it finally is, like, taking off in a way that is very exciting.

You know, at this intersection of pop culture on the internet and, you know, traditional Hollywood kind of meeting in the middle.

And Brewster Report is the ravings of a lunatic.

Mm-hmm.

And it's been that way for a while, and I feel like, you know, the industry is finally catching up.

And, you know, all of us creators, and I feel like the YouTube team is like, yeah, you know, like, we've kind of known it because, because of the freedom, because of the direct line to consumer.

I mean, it's like, think of exactly what you just said.

How many projects have been s- you know, cut down or said no or passed on when it was a gold nugget? And so now it's the opportunity of like, "Well, then I'll just make it myself."

[laughs]

It's a lot of taxes.

Um, yeah, I, I have a full crew.

Yeah.

And it's such a, it's a, a quality about myself that I'm trying to work on, of trying to be better about responding and, uh, not ghosting people, 'cause I do it to both of you.

I couldn't do it.

Every time I'm like, "I'll tell Drew a story," and then I'll, I'll, like... 'Cause it's, it'll be fresh in my mind and I'll say it, and then it'll be, like, a month will go by, and she's like, "Remember when you said this?" And I'm like [laughs]

Yeah.

People need to not just know me for this fuck, dumbass fucking face I made, but for like my personality, 'cause I have so much more to offer.

And so, yeah, it was a concerted effort, and I think it paid off.

But it was only because I remember growing up and feeling like all this time I'm spending on the internet is such a waste.

Like, when am I ever gonna use any of this online knowledge? I use it every day.

So it's like, wow, paid off.

I swear, I just dealt with this with a, a long-term friend of mine.

She's really been struggling.

We went on a girls' trip, and hearing about everyone else's struggles and how deep and, what's that, that phrase? It's called, um, not, not wanderlust.

It's the other one, where you realize, oh, everyone is as complex and gray as I am.
