So they kind of realized that if they wanted me in their life, they, like, had to embrace this part of my life as well.

The first time we, we, like, first met was over Zoom, and it was my parents and Paba's parents, and then Paba and I were both there, but kinda more on the sidelines.

And I remember it going well, right? Like, my, my parents are very friendly and, and we had, of course, like, you know, my mom in particular I leaned on a lot during that really tough year where we were just so in the thick of it with his parents.

So you know, my parents were really, really great and supportive.

And you know, what I suspected would happen all along is, like, as soon as they meet us, they're gonna see we're just people, too, and we're here for the right reasons, and we're just, like, excited to kinda get to, get to know everybody.

And I felt that to be the case.

Like, once they saw, you know, my parents as people and as me as a person, I think it immediately started to, to click a little bit.

It just ended up being really, really nice.
