Hello.

In 2019, my son, Jack Shonig, went to Penn State for a college tour and football game.

with a friend.

Unfortunately, they weren't able to get tickets to the game, and they ended up in a student's apartment where, to the best of my knowledge, Jack inhaled nitrous oxide or did whippets for the first time.

Jack was a big, strong varsity athlete at a prep school in Erie in great health.

He had no other drugs or alcohol in his system, but he was dead within 20 minutes after arriving at that apartment.
