yeah so for us i mean our mission statement is to shine a light of hope and to fight against exploitation trafficking right and the way that we do that is standing in the gap on the resource side right so what a lot of people just assume is that every local agency just has everything they need and there's people solely working against exploitation trafficking and children the sad reality is they don't right there are bigger bigger you know agencies that do but your normal agency just doesn't have that so for us when we were looking about this issue right and we kept hearing there's people doing great things with aftercare there's great people doing education right but we were looking well on the front lines like what's moving that needle and the needle is it's moving but the problem is it's moving the wrong direction and so for us we were like well that's the gap and once we started looking at the disparity and funny i mean not to bore you with numbers but in 2025 The budget for counter-narcotics went from $40 billion to $42 billion.

That's federal funding? Federal funding in counter-narcotics went from $40 billion to $42 billion.

The same year, the budget for counter-trafficking exploitation went from $200 million with an M down to $198 million.

So that is the giantest, most biggest disparity in funding we can ever see.

And that's why that's the trickle effect of when it gets down to the state level of why don't these law enforcement agencies have the needs they have? It's not the funding isn't coming down federally.

The state funding isn't coming down fast enough.
